Forward Florida May Statewide Meeting

Hello all fellow Florida Forwardists!

During the May Statewide Meeting for the Florida Forward Party, we'll be introducing a whole slew of exciting events and developments coming to our party, as we continue to grow into a credible political force in our state. We'll be explaining some of our strategy and goals, and sharing ways that you can become a part of this historic movement.

There will also be a large Q&A, and any and all questions about either the state or national party movements are more than welcome.

Extremism seems to have taken over the two established major political parties in our Country. As Kipling put it, `East is East and West is West, and never the twain shall meet’…. and that’s fine. But, while Democrat and Republican Party Grand-Standers and the Media tend to focus on and sensationalize the far left and far right Causes Celebre Du Jour, the most critical challenges we commonly face today are becoming bigger and bigger problems. (It’s the Infrastructure, in the broadest sense of the term, Stupid!) Where are the Moderates? A Moderate examines the issues and tries to be objective and fair… and a wise Moderate realizes that unadulterated Objectivity is impossible, since one’s perspective is shaped by their personal experience and present predicament. This is where Democracy comes in. Our differences of opinion should not only be tolerated but welcomed in order to get a good look at the Big Picture from every angle. If we are to move Forward, we will need to identify and prioritize the common underlying problems We all face and commit to working towards solutions that best accommodate the lowest common denominator. The health, stability and future of our free and open Democratic Republic depend on it. Hopefully, this Forward party movement is a step in that direction.
